Compensation Model

How will eligible Economic Operators be reimbursed?


The process of managing the provision of equipment process under Article 15 (7) of the Tobacco products Directive can be summarized as follows:
  • Eligible EO ‘applies’ via the SPOC OnTrack Web Portal by submitting required information;
  • SPOC OnTrack Back Office staff evaluates and advises EO on the coverage with regards to refunding of T&T equipment that would be compensated up to a level defined by standards set by the Manufacturers and based on independent advice;
  • EO equips himself through suppliers of own choice and applies for refund/ re-imbursement via the SPOC OnTrack Web Portal;
  • SPOC collates and divides costs between the Manufacturers and charge the Manufacturers for services rendered;
